Gold and Black Arrowhead Seed Pod Earrings

These small arrowhead style hollow bezels feature tiny green seed pods from the lepidium plant.  The bezel is filled with black epoxy clay, then the seed pods and gilding flake are meticulously pressed in.  The final layer is clear glossy resin.  Arrowheads measure 12mm across and 25mm tall.  They hang on gold filled handmade hook style ear wires.

What is gold filled?

“Gold-filled” is real gold pressure bonded in multiple layers over a core of brass, resulting in a quality gold product that will not easily wear off.  It requires 5% pure gold by weight, and is just as hypo-allergenic as wearing karat gold.
